The ingredients for the Chutney are: Sage, Red Onion, Apple, Brown Sugar, Balsamic Vinegar & secret spices.
The ingredients for the Kiwi Jam are: Fresh Kiwi & organic sugar. (yes - that really is it.
The Acacia Honey is harvested on our land from very happy bees. Unpasteurised (commercial producers only ultra heat honey to ensure the taste is always the same... how boring), unfiltered and so good for your health it should be sold in chemists! Plus it tastes divine and this type of honey is perfect for baking, spreading, pouring & adding to hot drinks:
All the ingredients are grown at Casa del Sole under strict organic rules. In certain circumstances I trade with my neighbour, Antonella, if I cannot grow my own (eg. I have problems growing onions so she does it for me) but she is 100% organic too.
Everything at Casa del Sole is seasonal - sometimes I will run out of an ingredient and have to change the recipe to reflect the changing time of year and harvest. I endeavour to update the website before this happens but if you do receive a box with a different type of jam or chutney in it than specified, be advised that the original has run out - there will be no more until next year!
This seasonal cycle of fresh produce means that you always receive the absolute best of Casa del Sole.
